• Access Mapleton student learning websites, including the Little Sponges Language Learning Website for continued Spanish and English practice, via Clever (K-3 students).
   
• Summer reading and enrichment opportunities through Anythink Libraries; registration for their Read-Think-Do-Grow summer program is open now. Once you’ve registered, starting May 26, you can visit your local Anythink library to pick up a mySummer folder, a packet of seeds, fillable bookmarks to track your favorite summer activities, and adventure tickets to local attractions (while supplies last).
   
  • This summer, Adventure students are invited to participate in a school-wide reading tradition to keep our learning and bilingual identity growing all year long! During the last days of school, each student will select a book to take home and enjoy over the summer. Along with their book, students will receive a “book spine” template to complete after reading. Students can decorate their spine and include the title, author, their name, and a key theme word written in both English and Spanish (for example: friendship/amistad or courage/valentía). Students will bring the completed book spine back to school for Back-to-School Night on August 6, where we will build a beautiful community mural: Our Bilingual Bookshelf / Nuestra Biblioteca Bilingüe. We can’t wait to celebrate our students as readers and showcase how our Adventure community grows in both languages—one book at a time!
